Ideas & Inspiration

My mother and grandmother have been the foundation for my ever so craftiness.  But there are some very inventive ladies out there that certainly help me along the way!  So thank you to Living Locurto, The Celebration Shoppe, HWTM & Divine Party Concepts just to name a few...

Jungle Theme Baby Shower

Look at those monkeys in the vines climbing on my light fixture, dollar store finds. That is a brown plastic table cloth that was cut into 1" strips leaving a 5" border at the top.  It made for a nice backdrop.  Did you notice on the blue tablecloth there are animals on the bottom edge?  Wall appliques found at the dollar store, definitely a bargain. Create A Critter cartridge used to make some jungle animals.  Those would look great in some frames to hang in a nursery or add'l decorations on a table.

Owl Baby Shower

This shower was a "Hoot!"  It was so much fun.  The belly cast was such an awesome role in this whole theme.  Alex really did a great job.  I just loved how everything came together.  Plenty of oohs & aahs!!!

Jordyn's Rock Star Party

This was my daughter's 8th birthday.  The birthday banner believe it or not was a shower curtain that I picked up for $2.50 in the dollar section at Target, and used my Cricut Imagine to cut out the letters, dressed it up with some rock star stickers and the guitars on each side of "8th" are thank you cards.  My sister-in-law Amy who I have complete faith in with the help of my niece Becky made the guitar cake, cupcakes and cake pops!!!  Thanks Alyssa as always for adding your special touch with the icing.  My other daughter Lauren put together that beautiful fruit centerpiece.  Thanks to my nephew NicK for taking these lovely photos & Zak for helping me decorate AGAIN!!! Love you all!

Marilyn's Retirement

After 38 years of service, about 80 people were in attendance to celebrate.  It was held at the Waterloo Gun & Bocci Club in Stockton, Ca.  Floral centerpieces surrounded by candle light, cake slice favor boxes filled with Mariln's favorite candies and cake pops. The menu consisted of tri-tip, chicken, red roasted potatoes, medley of vegetables, bread and salad.  Congratulations Marilyn for your hard work and dedication with the County of San Joaquin.  It was our pleasure helping make this milestone,
Unforgettable just like you
